Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No, you can contact us directly. If you're under the care of a consultant or another team, we're happy to work alongside their recommendations. Please bring any referrals with you to your initial assessment.
Can a family member or carer come with me?
Yes. Family members, carers and support workers are always welcome, and we'll happily involve them in your sessions and plan.
How long is the first appointment?
A neurological initial assessment lasts 90 minutes. A general (MSK) physiotherapy initial assessment lasts 40 minutes.
Do you offer home visits?
We offer a limited number of home visits. Please call us on 0116 396 0007 to discuss.
Is the centre accessible?
Fully accessible ground and first floor, with a lift up to the first floor.
Where are you and is there parking?
We're at 3-4 Geoff Monk Way, Birstall, Leicester, LE4 3BU, near Junction 21a of the M1 and the A46. Free parking is available.
Do you accept health insurance?
We have a limited number of places for all major private healthcare insurers. Please speak to our reception team when booking, as we must be told before your appointment is booked if you wish to go through your insurance.
Do you work with case managers and solicitors?
Yes. We're experienced in supporting case-managed and medico-legal referrals. Call us on 0116 396 0007 to discuss a referral, or email enquiries@bridge4rehab.co.uk.
How do I book?
Call our reception team on 0116 396 0007, email enquiries@bridge4rehab.co.uk, or send us a message.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. Due to demand, we take a 50% deposit when you book an Initial Assessment, which comes off the appointment price, with the remaining 50% due at the appointment. We need 1 full working day's notice of cancellation. Cancellations with less notice than this will incur a £25 cancellation charge. For example, cancel by 1pm on Monday for a 1pm Tuesday appointment, or by 11am on Friday for an 11am Monday appointment.
